FAQs
Where is your practice located?
Our clinic is based out of California. We see patients via telemedicine only at this time. We are only accepting patients who live in and are currently physically located in California. If you are physically out of state at the time of your appointment you will not be seen, no prescriptions will be provided and incur a cancellation/reschedule fee.
What medical conditions do you treat?
We assist with full management of mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, psychosis and sleep problems. We can provide limited treatment for substance abuse, eating disorders, sexual dysfunction, neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders (depending on the severity of the condition as well as treatment availability/response).
Do you take health insurance?
We are not currently contracted with any health insurance plans at this time. Please let us know if you require a superbill to submit to your insurance for out-of-network benefit coverage.
We require full payment via credit card at time of service.
Will I receive a prescription at my first visit?
An initial appointment does not guarantee the prescribing of psychiatric medications or ongoing treatment. This is a collaborative process where both the provider and patient must agree to a specific treatment plan which may change over time.
We do not provide prescriptions for controlled substances - medications with increased risks for dependence and abuse such as Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Adderall, Concerta, Ritalin.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We require 48 hour notice for cancelled appointments. Cancellations that occur with less than 48 hour notice will require payment of a no-show/cancellation fee prior to scheduling another appointment.
